...I would so play this game.

This is for the ~toontwins "Replacement" contest. My friend ~Aruethefoxdemon got me into it, and since I'm in an Ace Attorney mood, I think I'm the only one who thought of this.

Now, let me explain the context:

Kisame, as one of the most feared and loved of the Akutski, is not exactly pleased with the replacements being from a law firm (I mean, Phoenix IS trying to put criminals in jail). Not only that, but... really? A lawyer ninja? Seriously now...!

Phoenix isn't happy about the whole thing either. Being dragged on another Maya-fan-splurge journey, he still tries to continue his work... but being near a bunch of killers he can't convict unless he's in court isn't helping.

Maya's the only one happy about the situation. After being offered some of Zetsuna's "Homemade Hamburgers" and getting Deidara hooked on the Steel Samurai, she isn't exactly ready to leave this place, even if she is surrounded by criminals and assassins... but really, it shouldn't be anything new for her.

And Tobi; poor, poor Tobi. He's been hanging around the Akutski for so long, he's forgotten how to tell apart boys from girls. Maybe that's why he hangs around Deidara so much...

...Yeah. This is the first contest I've ever entered so I'm really hoping I don't screw it up. Wish me luck!

EDIT: Well, the contest is over, and neither me or Arue won. But all the faves this picture got made it worthwhile.
